Derdia is the third largest city in Bravia, home to roughly 20,000 souls. Officially neutral in Bravia’s ongoing conflict, it serves as a hub for trade, gambling, smuggling, and questionable mercenary dealings.
The city is commanded by Captain Hauke Udo Uysal, master of the Derdian Troopers, whose word is law inside the city’s bounds.
Derdia is not walled, but every road in and out is gated with toll booths and guard stations.
The city thrives on caravan trade, especially good coming in from Lastall, and is famed as a place where mercenaries from many companies sell their loot. Black-market dealings and a robust gambling industry have taken root, and the city boasts blacksmiths & magical shops catering to adventurers and mercenaries.
