Bharatavarsa
In the shadow of Kunlun Shan and tucked directly north of these imposing mountains is a series of lakes sometimes called the Tepid Lakes or simply Bharat, home of the Bharata people. Despite their placement, the magma chambers of Kunlun Shan run deep below these waters and keep them pleasantly warm throughout the year! A tranquil scene of delicate snow falling alongside steaming water folds itself neatly between towering peaks before giving way to endless rolling tundra! Living by the philosophies of Sanatana Dharma, an ancient and colorful civilization has made their home within the lakes in underwater cities, having forms of aquatic plants and animals if not water kaithur. A few terrestrial villages still shore themselves atop mountainous isles and verdant forests, inhabited by beastial clans such as the regal nagas, playful vanara apes, imposing varaha boars, daunting avian kannaras and courageous kimpurushas lions. They live a structured lifestyle and revere numerous elemental gods--a place where one can enjoy tepid waters and blooming lotus flowers alongside snowy shores! All under the watchful eye of Lursturand his Bharata Ganarajya |
