On the 13th of Stormcradle the people gather in woodlands to celebrate the Verdant Hunt in honour of lord Metsyn. Picnics for are common despite the late time of year, though those who are hunting themselves often set off before dawn. In the evening a feast is held, usually in a woodland clearing or the town square, where wild game is served. Fair weather on this day is considered auspicious for all of the following year.
