Untold Fortunes
Untold fortunes is a room on the third floor of the casino. The room opens in a dark space with mist and small aery flakes floating around a teepee in the center of the room. Whispering sounds come from the darkness around the tent. As you duck into the tent, the space inside is much larger than it appears. At a table in the center of the room, an old bearded man in a purple robe with gold trimming levitates with crossed legs and closed eyes. A blue crystal ball with swirling mist trapped inside sits on the short table before him. A voice echoes in your mind, "Please, sit." Purple pillows, like Japanese seating cushions, are spread out across the ground. As you take your seats, the man opens his eyes. He strokes his grey beard and asks aloud, "I know what brings you here. Who wishes to have their fortune told and their future revealed?" When someone steps forward, He gestures to the orb. "May I?" Upon approval, he uses the orb to cast detect thoughts. He then probes the mind of whoever stepped forward. He describes the person and their past in a cryptic way. The fortunes differ depending on the person:

In this room, players may have their fortunes told. This will foreshadow something to come in their future. Afterward, as they dread the approaching of their fortune, they feel a tradeoff. While their future looks grim, their present feels more lively and colorful. They feel luckier. The lowest number of their luck average is removed, increasing their luck stat!
If they brought the luck NPC with them, they would roll twice and add the highest to their luck average (as long as it is above their lowest luck roll) and then remove the lowest luck roll.
Tarius uses a magical orb that is fake, and really draws his mind reading powers from a Medallion of Thoughts he keeps under his robes.
