Session 33, To the Fields of Decay

When last we left off, or intrepid adventurers had brokered an acceptable peace with the forces of Bolso the Line Breaker on behalf of the people of Mralgir. He had taken his forces out of the city and begun their journey back to Algzul. The party later realized that Bolso's forces would be traveling back through the old battlefield, right into a necromancer's trap. Springing into action they quickly gathered allies from the Arc-Breakers and set out. As if the gods were at their side, they moved with great haste through terrible weather, the appearance of Sackyrm in the sky, and a long march to come across a battle underway. The group's previous warning to Bolso allowed him to arrange his men in a defensive position, and they were barely holding as the adventurers arrived. They fought through the battlefield directly to its center to aid Bolso and his honor guard fend of several dark mages and a strange black knight that seemed to wield powers similar to Loro.  

Secrets, Rumors, & Developments

Sackrym vaguely appeared in the clouds and tried to slow down the group with necromantic magic. This shows that he is gaining power.

Loro knows that the figure that opened the gate and walked through is the Black Templar that he seeks, and has been corrupted by Sackrym.

This Black Templar is noticeably more powerful that Loro's father that they encountered in the north. He is able to create and control very powerful undead.
