The gods in their uneasy balance have watched life become more than as it has grown and changed as per their design. Now it takes greater shapes and looks primed to become even more. Moradin comes to the others and tells them his thoughts. He says Eltharas should be shaped. He says he has a plan where the waters can be separated from the earth and let it gather int he lowest places, where more water can be lightened and spread out so much it can drift above the earth, where lower places can sit between rising hardened spires of Eltharas itself, high enough to encourage the clouds to meet them and release their waters, where those waters can run down to the great gulfs of water in the low places, visiting the earthly places on their travels. So, too, will the dark places of Eltharas shift and change, and there will be depth as well as height. In this way, Moradin says, might life find different ways to thrive. Each suitable to the place where it chooses to grow. And it may continue to grow into its different shapes. And those shapes will suit the places it grows. After some discussion, all agree. Each for their own reasons, at which we can but guess. And so it was that vast beings of the elements themselves were brought forth onto Eltharas. Titans is how we know them. Titans of stone raised the mountains. They scooped out the lowlands, they sprinkled the spaces beneath with openings and gaps, caverns and shafts where the life of darkness could find a place. And they made all the different types of rock. Titans of fire set whole mountains ablaze and gave them a fury and heat that itself would eventually die, or seemingly live on forever. And they imbued some of the rock with such pressure and spirit and heat that small veins of metals began to grow. And that some of the stone changed and took on some of that light and spirit or fire and became gems. Titans of Water guided the waters to their proper places and created vast lands of ice where they were furthest from Pelor's route across the sky. Where they met the titans of stone they crafted coasts and inlets, islands and isthmuses. Titans of air created the winds which would help life spread, where they met the titans of water they worked together to pull clouds into the sky from the waters below. Where they met the titans of stone they let the clouds drop the coldest waters on the peaks as snow, and let even more flow down and find its way back to the seas or into lakes and pools in the low places. The water titans, too, took on the winds of the air titans and made of them currents. All along the servants of the gods jointly instructed the Titans as to how to make all of these things and where to place each one. In this way there had to be some agreement between the gods as to what must be made and how. Tharizdun ensured it was so, bonding the form of Eltharas to the agreements between those who spoke its shape into being through their agents. Erathis sees the new shape of Eltharas and finds inspiration in it. She sees now some indication of what can be. With love for the lives forming themselves, she grants it creativity and invention. All the better to allow if to achieve and grow. Moradin sees this and knows it is good. For many long years the gods walk the surface of Eltharas admiring their design and what it brings forth. Sometimes taking a moment here or there to encourage something in which their interest is sparked.
