Damius Isillien
Prince Damius is the eldest son of King Daeron IV. He is a bastard and thus has no claim to the throne, but acts as the head of the royal household. He is not thought of fondly by the population.

General Physical Condition
Damius is overall in a good physical condition for someone his age. While of ten tends to train his mind, he does also take care of his physical well-being.

Personal history
Although he was never legitimized by his father, he nonetheless received all the education and care a prince would. His father spared little time for him, as he was still in his younger days tied up in matters of state and saw Damius as a failing of his, a sin that he could never right. Despite this fact, Damius found himself to be most interested in the ancient sections of the palace library, where he would spend days on end reading and studying the old texts. Once his fathers health began to deteriorate, he was raised to be the head of the royal household and manage the day to day goings-on of the palace. This duty he has been performing ever since.
Education
Damius received the royal tutoring and education expected from a prince, but was also to an extent self taught.
Employment
Damius would never be in line for succession, so instead he headed his efforts into managing and running the palace, where he had spent most of his life.
Accomplishments & Achievements
Damius was a very sharp mind even as child and was revered by the learned men of the court. He would often work with scholars and practitioners of magic to aid and learn from them. Many an experiment and discovery would have gone awry, if not for his contribution.

Some servants of the court claim that Damius can sometimes be heard muttering ancient prayers in some corner of the library, which is most unlike him.

Damius is not seen as the most caring of rulers from the few times his father has given the reins of power to him. He often disregards individual lives when in pursuit of his goals. He often thinks that his way is the best way and often claims to be working for the good of the realm, however this is sometimes very contradictory to the nature of his actions.
