Romanée-Conti Wine "1945"
Rich, classic, with quality unmatched and an extreamly rare vintage; the Romanée-Conti 1945 vintage is one of, if not the most sought after wines of all time. With only 600 bottles ever produced, this exceptional vintage of the already prized Romanée-Conti variety is a highly coveted by many individuals from simple collectors and millionairs to deities and extradimensional beings. Of the 600 bottles of the vintage, only a handfull have stood the test of time to remain sealed up to modern times. These borderline mythical bottles lay in the hands of prestigous collectors across all dimensions and are treated as near holy artifacts by their owners.
History
This specific vintage of Romanée-Conti was produced in 1945 during the closing years of the second world war, an already turbulant time for most wine producers, let alone for such a low yielding yet quality wine. With the addition of many soldiers combing through the countryside in celebratory ferver raiding many previously abbandoned sites, some of whom would come to discover the limited vintage and indulge themselves, even close to it's creation the 1945 vintage's numbers would quickly fall. By the 50s, the quantity had already falled to under half of the original 600 with some realizing its soon to be irreplacable status and unique history deciding to hold such bottles above others as a bottle never to be opened.
Come the turn of the 21st century no more than 70 bottles remained in existence, all of which had found their homes in collection among other coveted objects of praise such as pieces of high art, ancient artifacts, and extradimensional curios. In modern times, a feeble handful remain with around 12 bottles surviving to this day. these last dozen of a dying collection remain as the holy grail of all wines.
