Limbo

Description

Limbo, the barren stretch of ashen desert and dirt fields that forms the eternal no man's land between the Mountains of Paradise and the Pits of Hel. It's lands make the theater of the eternal staring match between the armies of heaven and legions of hel who have made the territory into a zone of constant paranoia and occasional bloodshed. Despite the opposing forces warring to rid the place of the other, it is concerningly calm with no native fauna calling it home in tandem with being devoid of any habitation spare the occasional outpost or emcampment, militaristic or otherwise.

Geography

Limbo is the desert esque plane that borders the Mountains of Paradise to the northeast and the Pits of Hel to the southwest. The borders to the northwest and southeast wrap around each other defying euclidian geometry. Both the mountains and pits are imapasable and have a similar non-euclidian loop where the distance from the center to the edge is indefinate while the distance from the edge to the center is definate. It is barren consisting of ashen sand cast in a monochrome sky devoid of any bodies, celestial or terrestial, flat to a degree where no horizen can be seen for miles. The land is devoid of moister of any kind, it is without bodies of water from puddles to oceans. It is primarily covered in dirt, ash, and sand with no stone to be found no matter deep one digs. The stonework and minerals that pollute the landscape are foriegn in nature orginating from either the Mountain to Paradise or the Pits of Hel.     Little flora can be sparsely found with native fauna being non existant in Limbo with the only animal life in the area being considered foreign in nature. The thinly spread plant life are resiliant hard organisims evolved to adapt to a lack life sustaining resources, the survival of which is constantly questioned. Many encorporate dark hues of reds and purples. A thick concentration of flora
