Ulivisaken

A tree that grows in mostly arid locations, where its fruit grows in a squat oval shape. Once it hits the ground, it explodes upward to 160 km/s, and the contents send the seeds flying in all directions. This is how the tree germinates, and why the trees are spaced so far apart in the landscape. This explosion of seeds in all directions also helped the tree be more likely to find the right soil for its seeds to take root. Due to the arid landscape, this was a necessity.
