Session 3.1

One month after the events of the Summit of Nations and The Night of Emerald Ashes the party finds itself back in the Amethyst Isle. Despite all the successes and accomplishments of the last year, the party’s duties and responsibilities only continue to compound. During the month of downtime, Amethyst City saw its population exponentially increase with an ever-growing influx of refugees and citizens. With the growing population, rebuilding and renovating the city becomes a pressing need. In response, the party has begun to address the issue with the infrastructure by making improvements to the Sea Lass and the Keep’s Temple, as well putting resources aside for the future updates for the docks, keep, and the city. Furthermore, the party has received multiple requests for an audience from different leaders spread across the continent. Jeeves had identified three of the most beneficial invitations belonging to Uhlmar, Ascension, and Cardona.

The biggest event of the month was the unexpected yet pleasant return of Lady Sophira. She has remained coy about her “errands”, but has brought news of national events including:

- The Republic and Federation are not returning to the negotiating table, and as such the possibility of peace is more or less wishful thinking.

- With the end of the Brisbanium looming just two month and a half away, war efforts have increased throughout Iberrios.

- President Highmore has gone into hiding while her city rebuilds and while they try to locate the person or people responsible for the attack on the Summit of Nations.

- Finally, given the vacuum in power in the city due to Lawrence’s passing, Abigail going on maternity leave, Priestess Luna on probation, and Rhorn taking a step back from adventuring, Lady Sophira has recruited two associates, Caspian Hawke, and Soren Shadowmark to join the party.

During introductions, Garewing had interrupted and requested assistance from the group to aid a few citizens who were looking at other places to settle around the island and had encountered some monsters while exploring the island. This presented the party with an opportunity to exhibit their skills and build rapport.
