The Elvish Forest- Pintosehnlin ((Pihn-toe-sehn-lin))

Pintosehnlin is the large forest to the west, stretching far beyond the edge of the map. It acts as the last bastion of the Elves in Elgis, and they are the reason it has repelled the excursions of adventurers.   The trees of Pintosehnlin are unlike any other in Elgis, and offer a unique ecosystem. They reach hundreds of feet into the air, dense canopies weaving together so tightly it can be walked on. The canopies, over decades and centuries, gather airborne dirt and dust high above the ground, forming earthen platforms that host ecosystems all their own.   The elves of Pintosehnlin have drastically altered the topology of the forest, erecting a maze of stone walls that make the forest floor nearly impassable to those who don't know the correct path. The homes of the elves are situated hundreds of feet off the ground, on the earthen platforms in the branches.
