Culture

Shared customary codes and values

The Warlocks believe in harmony. They are a pacifist group who work towards world peace from the shadows. Their biggest ideal is, well, harmony, as stated before, and they have worked for an age towards creating a messiah that can deliver the rest of the world and suck the darkness from their hearts. They believe the magic they have been given is a way for them to better the world.

Common Dress code

The Warlocks have always lived in cold regions, so their clothing has adapted accordingly. They wear long robes with drooping sleeves, the lack of manoeuvrability of which is accounted for by their lack of physical labour - almost all their professions are indoors.

Art & Architecture

The Warlocks have always lived in the mountains, and so the materials available to them have directly influenced their art and architecture. Materials to make paints are prevalent, so calligraphy and painting are both popular art forms. Architecture is very basic and primitive. This is because the Warlocks have always lived underground to combat the cold. This means their construction is poor, but their architecture - support structures and the like - is very advanced.

Funerary and Memorial customs

The Warlocks believe in reincarnation, and thus they scatter the ashes of their dead into the wild so the spirit can be free to find another home.
