Shield Bracelets
A pair of identical metal bracelets of uniform width, save for an oval widening at one point in the loop. The wider portion of the bracelets have mirrored spiral symbols etched onto the metal. When the symbols are brought into contact by crossing the wielder's wrists, a nearly transparent silver shield appears around the wearer. This shield is wide enough to fit another person, and is solid from outside. Through experimentation, Elena Hunt discovered that this shield lasts for up to a minute at a time, after which it must be recharged by exposing it to sunlight. When activated and deactivated, it causes the sensation of a cool breeze across the wearer's body.
