Willem Thatch
At one time a member of both the Laker's Guild and the Newgil Fishmonger Company, Willem Thatch grew up in and around Newgil until leaving to join the church as a cleric in his 20s. He has served in several offices in the church before being appointed Pralat of Newgil.
He has been an Adjudicator of Light, the Archpriest of the Cathedral of Light, and Bishop of the Monastery of Dawn Ascendant. Some in the church hierarchy feel he would be better served in the church collegia, and when he was appointed Pralat of Newgil, rumors started to swirl about that the leadership of the guilds in the city worked behind the scenes to get a local person named to govern the region, probably in hopes that he would give them an advantage in his rulings.
