Syln Lari
Syln Lari is less a living sanctuary, woven into the natural world so completely that many who walk nearby may never even notice it exists. Once known as the Heart of the Grove, Syln Lari is the spiritual soul of the empire; a place of deep connection to the Weave, the land, and the unknowable voices of ancient nature spirits. It is here that the Druids of the Deepwood perform their rituals, and where the Moonroot Circle watches over ancient sites of power.
The city is a place of peaceful isolation and introspection. Politics are rarely spoken of. Instead, life in Syln Lari revolves around balance—between mind and body, civilization and wildness, tradition and the ever-turning wheel of seasons.
Syln Lari is calm but strange. Music is ever-present but most of it is ambient, played on wind-chimes of living crystal or hummed in harmony with birdsong. The citizens speak softly, often preferring gestures or shared silence to words. They observe nature's rhythms in everything, from planting crops to choosing when to speak.
The turning of the seasons is marked by immense festivals of light, shadow, and memory, many of which draw mystics and druids from far beyond the Empire's borders.
