Orman Hale
The head of the Royal Council of the Dawn, the advisors to the Sovereign on matters of state and religion, Orman Hale is known and well-liked throughout not only Mecklenberg, but the entire Realm of Aethel. The Hale family and the Koster family have been close for generations, and rumor has it his oldest son may soon be set to wed the middle Koster daughter, tightening the families even further.
For his part, he is known for being approachable and friendly to all he meets, including ambassadors and citizens of foreign lands with whom other Aethelians may not agree. He studied for several years at the ecclesiastical monastery in Klosterdorf, but many believe his appointment as Pralat of Mecklenberg is more due to his friendship with the Sovereign and his ability to weave through politics more than his skill as a theologian of the church.
