Light's Hammer
Structure
There are three main ranks in the Light's Hammer:
Acolyte
The apprentice rank, acolytes are new recruits who spend most of their time learning the doctrine of the group. They also spend some time learning and practicing their magical skills. Acolytes perform menial tasks, assist higher ranking members, and are tested regularly on dogma and loyalty; any mistakes are punished severely.Sentinel
The mid-level rank, sentinels are tasked with overseeing the religious and practical training of the acolytes, as well as carrying out specific missions and enforcing Light's Hammer doctrine in their assigned areas. Most sentinels are split into cells, small groups across the land of Aethel. Different cells have different tasks - like distributing propaganda or gathering information.Keeper
The keepers are the strategic planners of the organization, implementing the Luminary's will. They develop long-term plans, analyze political situations, and coordinate with contacts external to the group. They are the most trusted members of the Hammer, and are privy to the most sensitive information.Luminary
The Luminary is the group's founder and leader. She believes she holds "the true light" of Lathander's teachings, and that the royal family - who claims to be directly descended from Lathander - have corrupted his teachings.Culture
The Luminary has long believed the royal family has corrupted the teachings and practices of Lathander, and seeks to bring society back to "the true path of light". Some call the Light's Hammer a cult - they consider themselves to be "guardians of the sacred flame".

Spreading the Word
The Light's Hammer regularly posts propaganda around Aethel, in many forms. Some are larger posters with drawings on them, some are murals painted on the sides of prominent buildings, some are writings from the Luminary, who claims to have discovered the "true light" of Lathander.Return to Original Teachings
Many churches of Lathander were independent organizations before the founding of the National Church of Lathander, when the royal family united all the churches under one banner, claiming direct lineage to Lathander. The Light's Hammer's core goal is to return independence to the churches, and to build more churches throughout the continent.Assets

History
The Luminary, after devoting many hours to meditation on Lathander and his teachings, claimed to have a moment of divine intervention, where Lathander showed them his true teachings. Afterwards, they started quietly sharing these newfound teachings with others. People started gathering to hear them speak, which angered the royal family, so they sent out a special militia group to find The Luminary and arrest them for heresy. Thus, the Light's Hammer was forced into hiding.
