Jirosh
Jirosh is Sulkara's easternmost beacon, built into sun-drenched cliffs that catch the earliest light of the sun across the land each day. It is a city of salt and silk, famed for its open-air markets, ornate sea gates, and elegant cliffside architecture.

Government
The city is overseen by the Mariner's Assembly, a council of well known and wealthy ship captains, guildmasters, and coastal wardens appointed by the royal court. The leader of the assembly, and the final word on city policy, is the Marine Warden; the role passes between members of the assembly every two years.
Currently the Marine Warden is Lady Reha Tajik, the master of the Shipbuilder's Guild in the city and sister of the Emir.
