Arim
Arim acts as the border post between Sulkara and the merchant ships of Honeybrook Isle, serving as a customs city and information nexus. Along with Jaffal, it is often the first stop from those in the north.
Government
Arim is governed by the Port Emir, a hereditary position currently held by Aziza Pirouz, a warrior well-known for her austere discipline and exceptional naval strategy. She answers to the Emir of Sulkara but is largely autonomous in military and maritime matters.
Defences
Arim boasts one of Sulkara's most well-fortified harbors, protected by obsidian seawalls and watchtowers that can hurl botls of flame or steam. The Crimson Fleet, a special branch of Sulkara's navy, is headquartered here, and the main city is overseen by the Ember Watch.
Industry & Trade
Salt mining and fish preservation are major economic drivers, but Arim is mainly a hub for marine trade, importing exotic goods from Wescovia and Jadeheart, and exporting spices, fireglass and fruits and herbs.
