Cooling Breeze
3.5th Edition
5th Edition
You create a light breeze (approximately 9 mph) that originates from a point you designate, affecting all creatures, gasses, clouds, and fogs in its path.
Any airborne vapors, fumes, clouds, smoke, and gasses drift away from the point at a speed of 80 feet per round and dissipate in one-fourth the normal time.
In addition to the effects noted, the cooling breeze can do anything that a normal breeze would be expected to do.
It can move wind chimes, scatter pieces of paper or parchment, cause candle or hearth flames to flicker, and so forth.
Cooling breeze can be made permanent with a permanency spell.
You summon a gentle, steady breeze originating from a point within 10 feet of you, blowing in a straight line out to 60 feet. The breeze moves at approximately 10 miles per hour, strong enough to cause vapors, fumes, clouds, smoke, and gases within the affected line to drift 80 feet per round away from the point of origin and causes such airborne effects to dissipate in one-quarter of their normal time. In addition, it produces minor environmental effects such as moving light objects, rustling papers, chiming wind bells, and causing small flames to flicker.
This spell lasts for the duration or until you dismiss it.
Cooling breeze can be made permanent with the Permanency spell.
