Aspect of the Phoenix
5th Edition
You infuse a willing creature you touch with the fiery grace of the phoenix, granting them the following benefits:
- The target gains a Fly speed of 60 feet and has Resistance to fire damage.
- The melee attacks deal an additional 1d8 Fire damage.
- The first time the target would be reduced to 0 hit points, even if he or she would die outright, the target instead drops to 1 hit point and erupts in an explosion of fire. Each creature within 20 feet of the target must make a Dexterity saving throw, taking 8d6 Fire damage on a failure, or half as much on a success. The target then gains temporary hit points equal to the damage dealt, which last for the duration of this spell.
This is a rare option
This option requires special permission to take. In the case of spells, psionic powers, and similar options, this option must be found in the world and cannot be taken upon level-up.
