Aspect of the Chimera

5th Edition
You channel the chaotic might of the chimera into a willing creature you touch. Choose one damage type from among acid, cold, fire, lightning, or poison. This spell gains the appropriate descriptor for the damage type chosen. The target gains the following benefits for the duration:
  • The target's melee weapon attacks deal an additional 1d4 damage of the chosen damage type.
  • The target gains Resistance to the chosen damage type.
  • The target has Advantage on saving throws against being Blinded or Frightened.
  • Once during the spell's duration, the target can use a Bonus Action to exhale destructive energy in a 15-foot cone. Each creature in the area must make a Dexterity saving throw against your Spell Save DC, taking 6d8 damage on a failure, or half as much on a success. The damage is of the type chosen for this spell.
Special: Estaklian Humans, as well as other peoples from Estaklyos ignore the Rare tag of this spell for the purpose of learning it. Your DM has final say on if you qualify for this.   At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a higher level spell slot, increase the extra damage granted by 1d4 for every two slot levels above its base level.
