Bataleinu, the middle brother, is the heart and rhythm of the band. His hands are rarely still, whether he’s crafting new drum patterns or fine-tuning his instruments. Known for his infectious energy and quick wit, he keeps the group dynamic lively and ensures their music pulses with life. His love for percussion was sparked during festivals in their coastal village, where he would mimic the beats of the ceremonial drums used to honor the gods.
While Yulianu leads the melodies, Bataleinu’s percussive beats are the foundation of their sound. His improvisational skills often transform simple rhythms into powerful crescendos, energizing their performances. Despite his jovial nature, Bataleinu is deeply introspective and often finds solace in composing rhythmic patterns that reflect the ebb and flow of the tides.
