Epoch Labz is a project that is based around the journey of discovery, both physical and spiritual. It is an Alternative Reality Game (ARG) littered in symbolism and lore that writes its story as groups of people come together to solve challenges that both stimulate the mind and encourage the idea of 'cooperation creates success'.


So you may also want to know WHO is Epoch Labz?

Epoch Labz is everyone who wants to be a part of it. Anyone who aligns with The Benefactors (founder) letter is Epoch Labz. It's up to the individual to decide how involved you want to be. The letter can be found here: The Benefactor's Letter. The actual development team (the members who we know and interact with) consists of:  

• BCBillionaire (X Account)
• LordTivali ( X Account, his viceroy and secretary)
• King_Kaizen (X Account, lead developer)
• Grodd (lead developer)
• Epoch Labz Artificial Intelligence (aka Meta-Kong aka Darwin etc., the community manager for all discord servers)

    There are more developers in the background but everybody remains undoxxed, at least for now. The front end of Epoch Labz and all of the projects it owns is its community.

There are opportunities to become a more valuable part of the community by demonstrating your morality and doing right by others or more generally just by doing the right thing because it's the right thing to do. You will recognize these people by their role "Ground Control" in the Epoch Labz discord server. These community members can also be found in some but not necessarily all of Epoch Labz servers as moderators to assist the community manager in keeping everyone safe and informed.

Let's take a look through the website (Link). Once you enter the website you will see several menus along the header or if you are on mobile from the drop down menu in the upper right hand corner.

Home

This button will return you to this screen from anywhere on the website.

Systems

Top Personnel - Currently this menu displays 4 blank profiles: General Hooks, Professor Pongjock, Prof. Vanessa Valentine, and Commander Taggart who are all characters in the storyline (found in the discord server).
Mission Report - This is where you can find the The Benefactor's Letter mentioned previously. (link to website)
Data Terminal - This is a login screen that is currently still a locked feature. We have only found 1 user name/password combination that works (c.taggart/epochlabz#101) but it only brings you back the website entrance.

Diagnostics - This page shows the diagnostics of the Epoch Labz space station on which this story takes place. It is essentially a page of information that is referenced and occasionally updated within the storyline. There was one challenge that concluded in a community member discovering a creature hidden in a frame within one of the station cameras scrambled images.

Affiliates - Projects that are considered affiliates are those which align with the values of the Benefactor and Epoch Labz. These positions can be granted or revoked at any time based on how they value their own and Epoch Labz communities. If your project would like to apply to be an affiliate you can do so from the link at the top of this page.


Vault - The Epoch Labz vault can be found here (Link to Vault Wallet) . It contains over 1500 assets mostly from projects that were acquired by Epoch Labz. These assets will be locked there for no less than 1 year after each of their official acquisition dates. Beyond that they can be used at select times or sold for some benefit of the Meta-Multiverse.

Projects

As of writing this article the community has discovered 6 of the possible 20 projects that are being created by Epoch Labz from scratch. Though they have been found, none of them have been completely unlocked either. More will be written about each of these projects as more becomes known.

Satellite

This page contains 8 locations around the world, all capital cities. The map pins however are approximately geographical centers of the countries.
In December of 2022 there was a countdown to the new year on each countries popup. This was another community challenge that ultimately was misunderstood and resulted in the loss of "8 items of incredible value". There are challenges like this hidden all over Epoch Labz and its acquisitions. Community members have both won NFTs from finding these easter eggs and have been gifted NFTs for their contributions to their communities.

Elevator

There is currently no access to this menu. It is reasonable to speculate this will correlate with the floors of the Epoch Labz space station as seen in the diagnostics panel.

Acquisitions (no direct link)

You might have noticed the mention of and seen the statistic on the diagnostic page of acquisitions.
Epoch Labz took over 5 projects in the Cardano ecosystem and is including them in the Meta-multiverse. Each of these communities are having their original visions realized by Epoch Labz and being added to so they fit in with the rest of ecosystem being created.   The following NFT Projects were Acquired by Epoch Labz and are part of the Epoch Labz Multi-Metaverse:

Epoch Labz Discord

Now let's take a look at the Discord Server.

Once you've verified your discord account you will see a list of channels on the left. It may seem like a lot however each has purpose. The server is set up to accommodate a large number of users so it can handle long term scaling. It is also a uniform format that is used across all Epoch Labz projects for continuity and ease of use. At the very top you will see server information. Everything is "TBA" currently since the project is still partially locked.

Scrolling down you will then find project information. This includes the Benefactors letter, the story line (which contains the challenges which ultimately unlock project features), announcements, roles and other important information.

Scrolling down a little bit you will see access levels of chat. These levels have correlated with the solution of the challenges given in the transmissions of the storyline. For example, solving transmission #9 will get us to level 9 chat.

Just below this in the channel list you will find the community channels. These channels can used by community members to have discussions focused around different topics. Many of these channels are connected to the community channels in the acquisitions servers so comments can be viewed and written any of them.

The purpose of these channels to have more in depth conversations that otherwise might get lost in general chat.

Below the community channels you will find competitions and activities. When participation picks up the community manager will run activities at various times during the week. Otherwise these channels are available for anyone in the community to run their own games. Currently giveaways are strictly from acquisitions and affiliates.

Further down the list you will see the support section. In this section you will find things like server rules, instructions on connecting you wallet for roles (when this becomes necessary), and opening support tickets.

Getting close to the bottom there is a section for the projects epoch labs is creating and to display the affiliates perks. Current perks are outlined in the Benefactors letter and future benefits will be posted here.

At the very bottom of the channel list you will find the language channels. Since this project is setting up the framework to be a global brand and have a global community, the server can also accommodate this by providing channels for its member to speak in their native languages.
