Thanadira

Thanadira, literally Land of Creators, was the original and sole continent on El'dor. In modern times it is just one of a few different land masses. Thanadira, once home to every form of land dwelling life form, is now home to all but the Dragons and Dragonites, who reside on the floating isle of Taresirat, or more literally, Dragon Ark.    Thanadira was, at the time of the Tearing, broken into several separate landmasses. As the Druids pulled Dragon Ark from the face of El'dor it created a cascade effect, causing massive breaks to rip through the land. Now many islands of varying size, having been broken from the mainland of Thanadira, exist around the main landmass. The main portion of the continent is broken by a massive canal, in the midst of which rests Solatana, the slave island.    Baerador, the central home of the Elven race, is itself somewhat centrally located on the main body of the continent at the peak of a mountain of the same name. At the base of this mountain, in the midst of Sontar Canyon, lies the human city Karthan. Baerador itself is also in the center of a unique mountain range, said to form something like the symbol for eternity. Along the southwestern side of this mountain range runs the Wall of Caeda, all the way to the end of Sontar Canyon and the Southern Sea. To the west of Karthan lies Caedria, home of the desert Elves.
