Toxxulia Forest

The Toxxulia Forest is a dense lowland jungle. It is bounded to the south by the escarpment, marking the edge of the Grand Plateau, and to the southwest by the Stonebrunt Mountains. To the west lies the Gulf of Uzun and to the east, Kerra Isle and the Abysmal Sea. To the north, the Laahr Sea glitters enticingly.   The sweltering jungle is swarming with diseases. PCs in the zone have a 1% chance of being bitten by a mosquito each minute. Every bite deals 0 damage but triggers the "received damage" GUI indication and carries a 5% chance of infection with Dengue, Malaria, or Yellow Fever unless the character is protected from bloodborne diseases.   Beneath the forest there is a labyrinth of tunnels inhabited by the Sporali fungus folk. These caverns, the Sporali Depths, are a dungeon for levels 15-50.   There is a hut on the eastern coast where a Thulite cleric lives. Several skeletons work the cleric's garden and fish for food.   Towards the northern tip of the peninsula, there exists a strange, circular expanse of forest which is afflicted with a mystic winter that emanates from the Tower of Frozen Shadow, an ancient spire overrun with undead.

    Rungupp: A troll shaman hermit who has taken up residence on the shores of the Gulf of Uzun.   Jungle Spiritlings:   Fear Spirit: Aggressive. Roam along the coast of the Gulf. Cast fear during combat.   Ice Spiritling, Greater: level 13-15, wander outside the Tower of Frozen Shadow   Ice Spiritling: level 9-11, wander outside the Tower of Frozen Shadow   Frozen Kerran: Ice zombie kerran (level 10-12), aggressive, wander outside the Tower of Frozen Shadow   Frozen Elf: Ice zombie elf (level 10-12), aggressive, invoker, wander outside the Tower of Frozen Shadow   Skeleton Servant:   A leopard:   A jungle spider:   A jungle snake:   A jungle bat:   Vine Strangler: A maleficent plant that attempts to entangle and strangle passers by.   The forest is home to two Titans: Prowler of the Jungle (a Leopard) and Slyder the Ancient (a boa constrictor)
