Sporali Depths

The Sporali Depths are a labyrinth of tunnels under the Toxxulia Forest. These caverns are filled with Sporali fungus folk who feed on the roots of the forest's huge trees. Near the tunnel entrances, young, weak Sporali are common, but deeper down, the oldest and most dangerous Sporali go about their lives.   The dark tunnels are illuminated in places by bio-luminescent mushrooms. In other parts, adventurers must use a light source or be able to see in complete darkness. The air in the zone is full of fungal spores, and PCs must make a save against disease every minute or become infected with Sporalia.   The deepest part of the Depths opens into the Underfoot.

  The Pool: there is an underground lake with blind, piranha like fish that attack swimmers.   The Lair of the Plaguebringers: region of the depths that has been taken over by human cultists who seek to alter the fungal spores to spread a plague. From within their lair they experiment on captured sporali.
