Storm Rift
A gargantuan canyon that cuts through the Underfoot below the Rathe Mountains from under Mt. Zeru to just north of the Sphinxes' Pass. It traditionally blocked longitudinal foot travel under Tharron except in the far north or south. Recently, the Teir'Dal have reconstructed one of their ancient bridges across the rift allowing them to travel to Port Naythex on the shores of Lake Nerius. The bottom of the rift is filled with molten rock, and rivers from the upper levels of the Underfoot cascade down to the deeps where they evaporate into clouds of water vapor that coalesce into raging storm clouds as they ascend.
