Eden
Eden is a fantasy world in which the refugees of numerous collapsed realities struggle to make a better life for themselves and their descendants. It is the setting for the comic book series The Blood of Seven Queens.
Geography
The world is comprised of a single supercontinent surrounded by a vast and seemingly endless sea. High above, five moons circle the continent at varying speeds. Higher still is miniaturized sun which rises from the eastern sea each morning and sinks into the western sea every evening.
An enormous volcano sits at the center of the continent. Dubbed Dükuhüo Aüki, it is worshipped by some as the physical embodiment of the fire goddess said to have created this place.
Eden is a geographically diverse place, with its fair share of rivers, mountains, plains and more.
Climate
The Edenian climate varies widely from north to south but changes very little from east to west. Beginning in the far north, polar tundra dominates the so-called Nunyan Wastes before giving way to a warmer and more hospitable continental climate which stretches from east to west. A similar continent-wide band of warm-summer Mediterranean climate sits below that—a climate which itself sits atop the strip of hot desert which rests at the so-called “bottom of the world.”
Fauna & Flora
Life in Eden is incredibly diverse. Species from across multiple collapsed universes mingle here and new species, some genetically engineered and others unique to this world, provide even more variety.
Sapient species include humankind, halflings, dwarves, elves, and the shape-shifting kíndalla. Other notable mammals include the bandersnatch, the splash panda, and the winged monkey. Reptiles include everything from the triceratops to the dragon, while plants range from the intoxicating moon grass to the man-eating amblewort.
