Earth-665

In this iteration of reality, the Cretaceous-Paleogene extinction event ripped holes in the fabric of the Veil of the World and sent millions of non-avian dinosaurs into the future.

After human beings had their chance to evolve as normal, the dinosaurs returned through thousands of glowing orange tears in the Veil. What followed was the near-extinction of humanity. And yet, one culture of survivors brought their species back from the brink: the fierce but scantily-clad Bekiskapan.

But of course, it was this cultural dominance which eventually led to the destruction of reality itself.

In the year 455 CE, a disgruntled time traveler who could come to be known as The Ghost stopped a messenger from warning the Empire of Meskera about an impending invasion. This unapproved alteration to The Plan angered the goddess Mira. As punishment for the slight, she unleashed a Calamity upon the unsuspecting world.

What a great way to solve for dinosaurs+humans existing together! I love it!

Thanks! Yeah, I originally had the dinos just NOT going extinct. But the more I thought about it, the more I realized that would mess up all of the evolutionary stuff necessary for human evolution. And so: time travel shenanigans!

I actually was, and still may, include creatures which supposedly went extinct (dinosaurs and those of Ice Age) but did not go extinct. They only hid from Humanity or something. The worldbuilding on this concept is not formed fully yet.

Do it! That's a cool idea.

Add time travelling dinosaurs to my list of fears.

Sorry! At least some of them were easy-going herbivores?
