National Emblem

The national emblem of Rodinia has remained largely unchanged over the last 338 million years since the Visians arose from the Earth to join with their cousin Kellvass. The emblem only sees changes when a new species/clade arises to join the collective, whereupon a new star is added to the ring encircling the figure of Rodinia.   The emblem's composed of four main elements symbolizing different aspects of the Rodinians and Earth life in general: their unity, diversity, achievement and origin.

The Blood of the Earth

This is the red background of the emblem, and represents the Rodinian's ironclad unity, commitment and devotion to each other. The colour symbolizes a gnomic Rodinian concept known as "Blood of the Earth", and refers to a deep psychological inclination the different species and clades of Rodinian have to gravitate towards each other, care for each other, and regard each other as kin despite the differences in species. Blood of the Earth emerges from what is shared; shared evolved behaviors and instincts, a shared tree of life, shared genetic elements and microbiology, a shared home planet, souls from a shared spiritual aura, and a shared story of life on Earth. And, of course, the fact that all Rodinians bleed red, the blood of the Earth.

The Ring of Clades

Eight stars arranged as an octagonal ring surrounding the central figure of Rodinia, the Ring of Clades represents the eight major clades of Rodinian in the collective: Kellvass, Visian, Tenerian, Carnian, Tithonian, Ophidian, Paravian and Rupelian. Each clade breaks down into hundreds of species and sub-species, meaning the Ring of Clades encodes within it an enormous degree of diversity of intelligent lifeforms to have sprung forth from the Earth. This is the only element of the emblem to ever change, where a new star is added each time a new species joins the collective. Over eons, this species will speciate, forming a new Rodinian clade.

The Mycaurum of Rodinia

The dual polar spires of Rodinia, bisecting the Ring of Clades, are the largest feature of the emblem. It's referred to as the Mycaurum due to the living mycelial organism constituting the vast majority of the structures' mass. Whereas the Blood of the Earth is the Rodinians' philosophy and social contract, and the Ring of Clades the actual creatures themselves, the Mycaurum of Rodinia symbolizes the civilizational aspect of the Rodinians. It's their collective achievements together; everything they've built, accomplished, learned and obtained, including the incredible power they wield.

The Holy Mother

The central blue circle represents the Earth itself, referred to as the Holy Mother among many Rodinians. Its history is most remarkable for its contrast. From this initially lifeless and humble ball of molten silicates and nothing more, emerged a biosphere that produced the universe's most powerful creatures, and their subsequent civilization that's mightier than the rest of the cosmos' 300 trillion galaxies put together. The Earth's central placement in the emblem describes its foundational importance in the world of the Rodinians. It's their home planet they evolved from, their goddess central to their largest religion, and the place from which new Rodinian species/clades emerge from. Its escondment within the Mycaurum of Rodinia also reflects is vital role in the continued existence of the Rodinians, serving as the physical anchor for all their souls and acting as the source of their power.
