The lyre of Agran Marie
This lyre is beautifully crafted, the woods of the frame, exquisite in both shape and in decoration. Delicate marquetry is used to produce inlaid flowers, picked out by precious stones. The strings seem to be made of a strange soft metal wrapped into tightly coiled wires that seem to almost absorb light from around them while still managing to draw attention to themselves. As soon as you touch the strings, you know they are in tune and they call to be played. The tone they produce is clear and seems to respond to your mood and expression, enhancing the performance of any piece of music produced on it.
Agran Mari was a Bard, hailing from the North of Cyfandir. He loved nature, with several of her surviving songs re- calling the impact War and Magic had on nature and his beloved Eana when overused by those seeking temporal power.
