In Memoriam Agran Marie

Ancient poem

In ages past, where tales unfold, A saga of a bard, brave and bold,

Agran Marie, his name renowned, In verses and songs, his glory found.

With lute in hand and heart aflame, He wandered far, seeking fame,

In taverns, halls, and markets fair, His words enchanted, filling the air.

But darkness loomed on the horizon's edge, A conqueror rose, fueled by a deadly pledge,

Tamerakh the fierce, with armies amassed, A force of tyranny, unyielding and vast.

Agran, unaware of the storm to come, Sang of love and lands under the sun,

He journeyed to distant forests in the East, And met there an Aldaron at a feast.

They loved and gathered nature’s lore, and learned songs and magic from days of yore.

Yet fate's cruel hand began to turn, As Tamerakh's banners started to burn.

Through valleys deep and mountains tall, Tamerakh's armies laid siege to all,

Their iron will and weapons clashed, Leaving destruction where they dashed.

With a heavy heart, Agran saw, The horrors of war, the world in awe,

He took up his lute, seeking a way, To halt the tide and save the day.

A grand performance on the battlefield, A spellbound crowd, their wounds were healed,

But Tamerakh, a man of scorn, Was not moved by melodies adorned.

Their paths collided, destiny's course, Agran and Tamerakh, in brutal force,

The bard's notes clashed with swords so keen, A dance of death, the battleground scene.

But Tamerakh, relentless and cruel, His iron grip, Agran's fate did rule,

Though the bard fought with soul and might, His defeat loomed like a starless night.

In the end, as dawn kissed the sky, Agran Marie met his tragic goodbye,

In a foreign land in Eastern lands, he fell to strong, but artl;ess hands

But his legacy burned in memory's flame, An inspiration for bards, to immortalize his name.

In dungeons deep and dragon's lair, A tale is told, of a bard so rare,

Of Agran Marie, who faced his fate, In the annals of history, his deeds await.
