Kingdom of Kediarouda
The kingdom of Kediarouda is the youngest of the nations on Eälendspar. It was founded by the new men following their creation, on the relatively uninhabited continent to the south-east of the central sea. During the time of the elven empire a few colonies had been established here, but it was far from developed. With the fall of the empire these colonies formed their own state. With the arrival of the new men there was conflict between the remnants of these colonies and the newly arrived race, but this conflict was resolved with remarkably little bloodshed. There were frequent raids and skirmishes between local rulers, but no large scale conflict ever occurred and the new men gradually pushed the elves south with their superior industrial and organizational systems. The kingdom is now solidifying as a land of vibrant markets and industry, and is attempting to compete with the cultural renaissance occurring in the cities across the seas. It is in perpetual border conflict with the thorn elves to its north and vampires to the east, but it has allowed the city elves to establish a trading colony on its western coast.
Military
The military of Kediarouda is the most organized and works on the largest scale of any in the world. Most eleven and dwarven armies are organized based on the location of origin of the soldiers. In Kediarouda soldiers join the army and are organized by military needs, becoming career soldiers and serving directly with soldiers from around the kingdom. They are also the only nation to develop the concept of cavalry to any significant level.

Major Exports
The defining export of Kediarouda is enchanted items. Due to the difference in how their life loops interact with magic, new men have been slow to master the style of magic prominent among elves, but have instead mastered the creating of physical items to take care of the spells. These items do not have the versatility of knowing magic, but are incredibly easy to use and have become popular around the world, particularly in and around i alma, where they are the toys of the rich.
Executive Body
The king of Kediarouda has absolute authority but little political power. Most of the power resides in the hands of the nobility and the generals of the army. These two groups, in their shifting alliances, make most executive decisions, though they are presented through the mouth of the king.
