Close your eyes for a moment and think of the colors YELLOW. What do you see in your mind's eye and what do you feel?

Here the color yellow will have to give way to negative associations and will create a slightly gloomy, sulphurous, putrid mood on this continent.   Sulfur was already used by the Egyptians in ancient times for bleaching or disinfecting. As a component of black powder or accelerant, it can be used as a weapon. It was used by the Assyrians as protection against magic and in the Middle Ages for de-witching. In the Bible, sulfur was considered a punishment from God. It is yellow and when burned it produces gases that smell like rotten eggs - just like the smells of hell.

Frankenstein & Dr. Jekyll / Mr. Hyde - Epic sounds from Ivan Torrent, Hans Zimmer or Two Steps from Hell with the call for freedom, rebellion and departure into another world are also very good inspirations.   Rome - This series is set in ancient Rome during the time of Caesar and is about love, betrayal, intrigue in the Senate and the fight to expand the empire and maintain power.   Roots & The Book of Negroes - Even though both don't seem to fit the topic, I chose it because it's about liberation from slavery and servitude and symbolizes the oppression of non-magical people.   Genesis & Exodus der Bibel - Do you seriously believe the Bible made these stories up? No, the stories of the flood, the oppression of the Israeli people and their exodus from Egypt are fictional and correspond to the escape of the people of Elaqitan.
