Creation of Countermeasures

After the great evil once again left Du'merh many things needed repairing and the king had some time to figure out what his position in the war was. It was here decided that something needed to be done.

Although many had died with the passing of the great evil, it was not yet for certain what was to be done about it. With the restoration work however the Mountains Heart was found once again and this time it was decided to help those wizards that had once before come to the dwarves and requested that very same jewel.   If they had a way to destroy this great evil then the jewel was to be given to them and becomes the beacon of hope for all mortals on E'ath. With great care and under heave protection both from the army and the many civilians that volunteered, the journey to what is now known as the "Magic Pools" began. Here the wizards would amplify their magic power again and again though the mountains heart and fill the entire lake with magic. This would then become powerful enough to destroy the great evil creature in theory.
