Construction beginning/end

In the early months of the year 1789 the dwarves of Du'merh found a giant flat surface of mithril. It was decided by the dwarves that discovered it that mining it piece by peiece would be a waste possibly be an affront to whatever deity had provided so much metal to them. In the end the mithril vein proved too big to find fully mine out and instead a throne was erected inside the ore.

After the discovery of the single largest piece of mithril of the dwarves of Du'merh had ever seen many dwarves were unsure of exactly what to do. At the time the individual families had control of the mineshaft each familiy was digging out and the family in control here had decided to view the ore as a gift from the gods.   So unnaturally smooth and flat was the ore that the dwarves decided that it had to be a gift from above and could not be shattered by pickaxe and brought out piecemeal. So the family got several other to join them in their quest to mine out the mithril in one piece. This endeavor proved much larger than any of them could have thought at a time and after three years and digging and funds running low for the family, the piece was dubbed "the core of the mountain".   It was still unknown exactly what should be done with this piece but almost all the dwarves in the region had helped, in one way or another, in digging out this piece so the family used their newly acquired connections to pronounce themselves as the new leaders of the mountains. Although some disagreed they were quickly silenced by the magnificence of the ore and goodwill of those around the family.   After the coronation and ascend to kingdom the head of the family decided to build a throne straight into the ore and after that make digging around it forbidden. For this reason the true size of the mithril ore is still not known nor its shape besides the one flat surface.
