It did not take long for the priests of the lizardfolk to open the rift into a stable portal. From it came out a creature the lizardfolk had not seen before, although it reminded them of outsiders that were known to be powerful.

These creatures called themselves qlippoths and they were quick to ally themselves with the lizardfolk. But when the Holy Order of Druids learned of them, they were quick to warn against them. Many lizardfolk regarded this as an attempt by the druids to keep them weak, and as such they expelled the druids and instead welcomed the qlippoth and their help.
