In the ten years it took to find the body of the great evil it had already corrupted the ocean around where it was found. As reports came in about this corruption the gods took up arms once again and cleared the way for mortals led by Bob Goodbody to finally put it to rest.

The attack that finally killed the great evil had flung its body far to the south and into the ocean. Here the body lay festering before an exploration ship brought back reports of dark shadows and corrupt sea life in the area.   As the area had not yet become too corrupt it did not take long for the gods to remove the corruption that had built there and subsequently accompany Bob Goodbody and many high-ranking magic users including those from the Holy Order of Druids. Here they created a cave around the corpse on the ocean floor and sealed its entrance shut. After this several layers of barriers and protective magic were placed in order to keep the miasma from leaking out again.
