Metaphysical / Paranormal event
After the war had raged for several hundred years under Li'gnax extraplanar creatures who fought suddenly found themselves falling ill, losing strength or outright dying. This caused a temporary truce among the extraplanar creatures while they relocated back to Niko.
While the war had been raging under Li'gnax the land around where Li'minar formerly stood was increasingly drying up. Rivers would stop flowing, plants would stop growing and forests would seemingly dry up and turn to the first deserts in E'ath. It was this changed land that the fighting sides of the extraplanar creatures found when they returned. Although their original goal had been to hold talks and figure out what was happening, once they saw the land they decided to first help the land. The gods, still weary of giving any sort of help to those that associated with the extraplanar beings decided to stay out of it and observe. After all, they had already tried, and failed, to do something about the land. The power of the extraplanar creatures helped to slow the progress of the land drying up. As such they were celebrated by the mortals and ultimately reached an agreement on the truce. Since the loss of their strength did not seem to happen away from Li'gnax they decided that any large-scale battles would not happen until they knew why Li'gnax had reacted that way. Fortunately, the will of the world trees is hard to understand and to this day the truce still holds.
