The Rules of Appropriation

The Rules of Appropriation is a list of loosely followed rules followed by the pirates operating from Waterfort and some of settlements around it. They mainly deal with who gets priority over prey and how to split treasure in case of disagreements.   The rules are not followed strictly but rather viewed as guidelines of what to do. In cases of major disputes Ailith Argent is typically the person that acts as an arbiter as she is the one who wrote the rules. Despite this she has no real authority and typically crews will simply settle disputes between themselves and Ailith Argent often bend or even break the rules herself.
