Vasign
Vasign is one of the four counties of Critinal. While not as adventure-loving as its neighbor, Baranek, Vasign is still exciting enough to hold the attention of its youth. It is the closest county to the Myrkvidr so there are many loggers and woodsmen who handle the majority of exports to the rest of the Critinal territory. The folks here are much more superstitious around this area, usually being weary of any oddities that come into their streets. They're not particularly fond of magic users, save for a handful of paladins, clerics, and perhaps a druid clan or two. Again with the superstition, they believe spellcasters to be untrustworthy.
Demographics
Mostly Human, though has an oddly high Gnome and Halfling population.
Government
A local Count manages the town, while the King of Critinal has rule over all its territory.
Defences
Vasign's defenses aren't the best in the world, but they get the job done. Simple walls and well trained guards are enough to keep the town at large safe. Though there was never really a need for elaborate defenses, as Vasign does not produce or hold any valuable resources that are worth invading for.
History
In 780 of the Era of Resolution, Vasign was established as one of the four counties of Critinal.
Architecture
The constructions here are not finely built, but somehow that seems to give the whole city a certain kind of rare charm. A familiar and warm feeling all throughout makes up for the lackluster craftsmanship. Log, with thatched roofs seems to be a popular design. It is quite obvious the people of Vasign are ones of simple tastes.
