Swiets
The Swiets are a semi-nomadic tribe in the Eechsielochi region of Kriehehrdtia. Like most tribes in the region, they maintain major settlements near the lakes and along the rivers, but a significant portion of their population moves from one settlement to another based on the seasons. Also like the other tribes in the region, they do not have firm borders, though they tend to stay within a vague area.
During the Swiet-Kaisan War, they fought against Kaisa's northward colonial expansion in Kriehehrdtia. For a time, they held out, but they were unable to win a war of attrition against a colonial power. In the course of the war, Kaisa killed nearly a third of their population, with a policy of killing every person over twelve and under forty, burning forests to flush out enemy combatants, and slaughtering entire herds of food animals.
