Onnävynd

Onnävynd are transcendental creatures living in the alpine region of the Iron Lands. They are cunning and deadly small pack hunters, known to track their prey for many miles and ambush them when they are vulnerable. They do not seem capable of symbolic language, though they do create rudimentary tools and even shrines to Fentylshog, The Dread Hunter. The Onnävynd rarely descend below the alpine region of the Iron Peak. The last time they did in any numbers was in the late 1100s CE, when large numbers of the creatures attacked farms and small settlements in the lowlands. Historical records show that this has happened a few times in record, though no one is quite sure of the cause.

Geographic Distribution
