Mitaque Revolution

The Mitaque Revolution was a military coup enacted by army officers loyal to the Socialist Workers Party of Mitaque, creating the Socialist Republic of Mitaque. Led by Duli Pelnes, the officers captured the monarch, her family, and most of her ministers in one evening, executing most and imprisoning others. Army units loyal to the coup were moved in to protect critical infrastructure. Fighting broke out between soldiers loyal to the surviving ministers, but it was poorly organized and suppressed within a month.
