Long Rifle

The Long Rifle, created in various patterns for more than a century, all across Duurn, is an early rifle model. Originally esigned for long-range hunting and defense in the late 12th century, they are still in use today by some hunters and hobby shooting enthusiasts.   They are also frequently used in regions without easy access to modern manufacturing, where people must perform repairs and maintenance, as well as produce ammunition, themselves.   Speedier reloading is accomplished via the greased patch, which isn't as precise as using a mallet and rod to force the ball into the grooves but is much faster, and most guns have a small brass box with a spring-loaded lid inset in the stock to hold patches.
