Kaisan Kriehehrdtia
Kaisan Kriehehrdtia is the colonial territory of Kaisa in Kriehehrdtia, a region of Vieluesse.
Kaisa tends towards extreme extractivist policies with its colonies, installing colonial administrations to control the populace and build infrastructure. Corporations, which the Kaisan government is required to have 50% stake in, are then able to extract as much from the colony in resources and labor as possible. The indigenous population is required to pay heavy headcount taxes that keep them locked in a system that is technically not slavery but is indistinguishable from it in effect.
Kaisan colonial law is enforced by Kaisan Colonial Auxiliaries, composed of conscripted indigenous people led by Kaisan officers. The conscripts and their families are given significant benefits that coerce them into a sort of loyalty to the Kaisan state. This has the extra effect of driving a wedge between segments of the colony that might otherwise cooperate and attempt to drive Kaisa out.
