First Battle of Rouverny
The First Battle of Rouverny was a battle in 1342 during the opening of the Last War that began when the Kaisan Army assaulted Imperial Jiderani Union (IJU) fortifications along their shared border in northern Jideran.
The assault quickly became a bloodbath, as Kaisan troops charged into IJU machine-gun emplacements and bunkers. Both sides soon entrenched themselves and began a series of smaller probing skirmishes, the lines of battle barely changing until the IJU invasion of Lanpetia in 1347.
