Coteraitian Revolution of 1332
The Coteraitian Revolution of 1332 was part of the wave of revolutions following the Red Week. Wealth disparity and economic hardship were endemic in early 1300s Coterait. When the Red Week hit, many Coteraitians were left with nothing. Revolution broke out. A general strike was called by the Coteraitan Railworker's Union, which spread to most industrial sectors. Shortly after, tens of thousands of people marched on the capitol, led by the Revolutionary Workers Party of Coterait. They stormed the building, and in the chaos, the president of Coterait was killed. Fighting broke out in the streets between communist and union militias, the Coteraitian Army, and the echelarist Vitre Corps. Many communist and trade unionist organizers were imprisoned or killed, and the revolution was crushed.
